Terms of use

These terms apply to the Chunkplay Stats app in ChatGPT and other AI assistants, the MCP server, the REST API and this website (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to them.

The service

The service provides sports statistics, currently NFL statistics, for information and entertainment. It is free and needs no account. We may change, limit or discontinue any part of it at any time, without notice. We don't guarantee that it will be available or free of errors.

Accuracy

Statistics come from nflverse and are provided as-is. They can contain errors, lag behind official sources, or be revised later. Model-based metrics such as EPA, success rate and CPOE are estimates. Methodology explains how each number is calculated.

When you use the service through an AI assistant, the assistant chooses which data to request and writes the answer. We are not responsible for how an assistant interprets, summarizes or presents our data.

Don't rely on the service for betting, financial or other decisions where an error could cost you money. Check important figures against official sources.

Acceptable use

You may use the service, including through automated clients, within its rate limits. You must not:

• attempt to get around rate limits, overload the service or disrupt it for others;
• probe, scan or test the service's security without our written permission;
• use the service in breach of any law, or present it as endorsed by a league, team, player or data provider.

We may block access that breaches these terms.

Data, attribution and trademarks

nflverse data, including play-by-play, is licensed under CC BY 4.0. If you republish statistics from the service, credit "Data from nflverse" with a link to the license. Some datasets have their own terms, and we make no claim that the data may be used commercially. It is your responsibility to check before any commercial use.

Chunkplay Stats is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL, its teams or players, nflverse or OpenAI. Names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on the data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may also bring proceedings in its courts.

If you are a consumer, you can refer a dispute with us to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), which handles out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
